From an early start at Prescott Nursing Home during high school to a career in finance and franchising, helping others has always been at the center of my work. That lifelong drive became deeply personal when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
When it came time to help my parents transition from the home they had lived in for over 43 years, I stepped in to manage every detail. In just three weeks, we downsized, organized, and completed their move into assisted living—an experience that shaped not only my perspective, but the foundation of this business.
Today, that same level of care, urgency, and attention guides everything we do.
At Moving and Shaking on the North Shore, our mission is simple: nothing wasted. We take a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every project—helping clients decide what to keep, what to donate, and where items can be repurposed or sold. It’s not just about moving—it’s about making transitions feel more manageable, more intentional, and more respectful of both people and their belongings.
My team and I bring experience, compassion, and practical expertise to every move, whether it’s a full relocation, a downsizing project, or helping a family navigate a major life transition.
Rockport has been part of our lives for over 20 years, and two years ago, my husband and I made the move to bring our businesses here full-time. We’re proud to be part of this community and to support local families throughout the North Shore.
